Fresh Water Dolphin & Orang Utan Survival
BALIKPAPAN AIRPORT – SAMARINDA AIRPORT / TENGGARONG / KOTA BANGUN / MUARA KAMAN / KOTA BANGUN / MUARA MUNTAI / MUARA PAHU
Upon arrival at Balikpapan or Samarinda airport, meet and greet with your guide then transfer to Kota Bangun. Upon arrival check in hostel to drop our luggage and short rest. Afterwards hop on motor canoe to get Muara Kaman to spot fresh water dolphin. Lunch and dinner at simple local restaurant. Overnight at simple hostel.

After breakfast at hostel, take motor canoe to get Muara muntai. On arrival take a sight the village to see the local people and their activities. Afterwards to go upstream to get Muara Pahu to spot fresh water dolphin in other places. Lunch is served on box, Dinner and overnight at guest house in Muara pahu.
After breakfast at guest house leave for downstream mahakam river to search the dolphins in other places. Stop at Minta village to see how local people make palm sugar for their income. Proceed by motor canoe to get Kota bangun. Lunch at local restaurant. Dinner and overnight at guest house.
Breakfast in the morning then transfer to Samboja Lestari. Lunch at local restaurant on the way. Upon arrival Samboja Lestari , check in to your beautiful room at the Lodge. Enjoy tea or coffee at the terrace restaurant. Here we can take a look beautiful view of the park seen from the tower. After wards trekking the forest to see the Orangutans and Sun-bears in their rehabilitation process back in the wild. Dinner and Overnight at Samboja Lodge.
