Upon arrival at Berau Airport, meet and greet with our Guide, then transfer by vehicle to Merasa village, possibility for sightseeing at the village of extra ordinary art and vibrant design as flowing geometrical portraying scenes of jungle life, dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at local guesthouse.
Breakfast is prepared for our adventure trip by canoe cruising the Lesan river through the jungle while enjoying the scenery and its wildlife by passing Bawan Orangutan Island, as the ultimate orangutan spot. Continue cruising to Dayak Lesan Village. Picnic lunch en route. Upon arrival at Dayak Lesan village meet our host and drop our stuff, possibility to explore the village and do jungle treks around to explore the protected primary forest of Lesan to search for orangutans and other wildlife creatures, return to village for dinner and overnight.
Simple breakfast at Local house, a forest trek for wildlife and orangutans, afterwards we will cruise upstream Lesan River by motor-canoe for about two hours to the limestone forest, during the sail you can enjoy the forest view at the river banks, the birds, and other creatures along the way, we will pass “Dog stone” to end up at an old Dayak Grave in the forest, Lunch en route, short trek in the limestone forest before we head back to Lesan Dayak village, for dinner and overnight

Lesan Culture & Wildlife
The wildlife is exotic, lots of water birds, along with the endemic proboscis monkeys, and other forest denizens including clouded leopard, leaf monkey, macaque, pangolin anteater, tiny tarsier, lizards, and pythons. The Tribal Cultures have spiritual believes and traditions, most do dry rise farming and hunting for daily needs, art is poor, no long houses
